Following catheterization, achieving hemostasis with manual compression can be time-consuming and costly. Patients are also at increased risk for catheter-related blood stream infections (CRBSI) . The Clo-SurPLUS P.A.D. antimicrobial dressing accelerates hemostasis and protects against nosocomial infection.

     Closure
             Non-woven topical pad made with a proprietary polyprolate, a positively-charged material that reacts with negatively-charged blood cells to accelerate the clotting cascade.
             Faster hemostasis leads to decreased hold time and time to ambulation.
             Can also be used for patients on anticoagulation therapy.
     Plus
             Unlike other vascular closure devices, the Clo-Sur PLUS P.A.D. has no contraindications and can be used by patients with known sensitivity to bovine-derived materials.
             Water soluble for painless and easy removal, which is more
             comfortable for the patient.
     Protection
             Provides an antimicrobial barrier for up to 6 days.
             Can be used as antimicrobial wrap around indwelling lines to protect
             from catheter-related blood stream infection (CRBSI).
